It’s been a while since I wanted to start my own website. And now, that’s done!
I set up this site because I wanted to have my own space on the Web and on the Internet in general. I could have created an account on Facebook, Twitter or on another censor-happy site but I prefered to contribute to one of the original goal of the Internet: decentralization. Self-hosting services and having a blog help to reach it. In the same vein, you won’t find any JavaScript code or cookies here. For now, this onion service is the only way to access this place. I might later buy a clearweb domain name to reach more people (even if I don’t want to deal with bots), start a Gemini capsule or a Gopher hole.
On this site, I’ll publish articles about otaku topics (anime, manga, visual novels, video games, etc.), technology and I might post about politics. This site will also serve as a frontend for my git repositories and I plan to self-host other applications on this server.
Some of you might be curious about this site name. It’s a reference to the Japanese visual novel “Higurashi no Naku Koro ni” and I think it encapsulates my optimistic view of nostalgia. Also, I didn’t pick my nickname for the site name because I might let some people write on my blog and I wanted something more original!
Finally, if you want to contact me, just go to the contact section.
See you again, have a nice day!
